some simple wheels on an everyday commuter, I feel like the car was transformed.
and now, I make with the ranting. my calipers need a little love and attention. so I indeed to remove them. for this I desire hose/line clamps. everywhere, literally everywhere appears to sell this convenient 3 pack. you know what though, my car has FOUR lines to clamp! grrrr mondays.
so, any alternatives for clamping a brake line whilst the caliper is off the car? or suggestions for where to buy package or 4 clamps?

Yeah, your car because of those wheels is now indistinguishable from a Ferrari.

Now it looks more like a rally edition crap box as opposed to a boring crap box.

why do you need to clamp 4 lines? take one off, work on it, put it back on, move to the next one....one line to clamp

Is that a hair tie holding the front bumper cover on?

indeed, I believe it had illusions of racecar grandeur

they have chipping paint and surface rust. so I’m stripping and repainting. or least intending to. and would like to do that all in one step.

Again with the DOTS - what the heck do you mean? The only slang reference I can find is “Dozens of Terrific Stamps.” Here are the others from acronym-finder:

Dizzle on the shizzle

What exactly is that thing called? I see them all over the place.
EDIT: They are called bumper cover quick releases and they appear to be essentially some fancy bolts and a hair elastic.

i.e. spotted vehicles out in the wild

Even in Coolio vernacular, that is wrong. The shizzle belongs on the dizzle, not the other way around.

Hey I don’t make the acronyms I just repeat them on the interballs.

Got it. Thanks. I’ll try to remember that one.
I guess Spotted in the Garage would be SITG. That doesn’t seem right. Down in the Garage (DITG)? No, that’s doesn’t work well either. I’m at a loss here....

Back in the day Car-X used vice grips... and forgot to remove them from my rear break line.

err, dang

And this is how I came to be the owner of a previously used set of vice grips.

Those wheels actually like quite nice on that Accent! I have the same model Accent - an ‘09 Acent hatch, but mine is in Midnight Gray Metallic, so that darker steel blue-gray color.
I’ve got the original steelies and hubcaps for my winter rims, but my current summer rims are just a used set of old ‘98 Ford Escort rims (with custom ‘Hyundai’ 3D-printed center caps) that have seen better days....hoping I can find a better set of 4x100 rims for it soon! :)
As she currently stands when the summers are mounted....this is before I had my latest set of caps printed/before I added the Oppo decal, so they aren’t in the pic.
Rims = so ‘90's.....lol
